Therapy is a collaborative exercise. It centers on compassion and
care in helping us explore the stories we tell about ourselves,
learn healthy coping mechanisms, and move from survival to our
therapy goals.
Whether you want to think out loud, learn a new habit/skill,
process a traumatic past, or prepare for an uncertain future,
UsTherapy was created as a safe, non-judgemental space to help you
understand your experiences and equip you with the tools to show
up more adaptively. Welcome to UsTherapy!
I am the founder of UsTherapy, a clinical psychologist with a goal to make mental health support accessible through psychotherapy, policy, research, and education. Through my work, I merge intersectionality with client care to enable access for everyone, and create safe spaces for healing, openness, and vulnerability in healthy ways.
This is a virtual or in-person collaboration with you to meet your therapy goals.
In couple's therapy, I draw from sound relationship theories to rework how each person shows up in the relationship.
I work with organisations to design cultures that protect the health and wellness of everyone in it.
I facilitate workshops and trainings that explore mental health in an interactive way.
I write articles that explore the mental health angle in work, life and everythiing inbetween.
I am available for speaking engagments on mental health, in physical or virtual conferences, retreats, townhall, etc.
Ustherapy takes a client-centered approach towards your mental health goals. Through these sessions, we will be working collaboratively to develop new habits and make healthier value-based decisions, over trauma-based ones. I majorly work using CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy) and ACT (Acceptance Commitment Therapy).

UsTherapy was created as a way to open the conversation around
career success to include the mental health of young professionals
at work. Mental health accounts for the majority of a person's
ability to participate in their work function. UsTherapy’s focus
is on collaborating with young professionals to navigate their
mental health in relation to their work. The goal is to help
design policies and provide interventions that create a culture
that amplifies their mental well-being, ultimately resulting in
productivity and performance.

Each session is an hour-long. This can be virtual (audio or video) or in-person.
Knowing what doesn’t work for you is super important. In instances like this, I’m happy to refer you to another therapist.
Awesome! Please send an email to aanu@ustherapy.org
